2hrs Hips, twists and shoulders ~ Unwind and de-stress 2hr Yoga session Sun 9th of February 2-4pm, £30 investment.

90minute session including a gentle holistic Yoga flow to unwind, delve deep & be still with Yin Yoga, nourish and let your stress melt away with delicious Restorative Yoga, restore in Savasana/relaxation and then we have half an hour to reconnect and ground with organic Yogi tea and yummy vegan cake.

You’ll also receive a hot stone for extra warmth in relaxation and an essential oil hot cloth for your face and feet to help soothe your senses.

By working on the deep tissues in hip focused postures will help release both physical and emotional tension. Hip openers can help release stored stress and anxiety, which can lead to better mental well-being.

Hip openers help reduce lower back pain by promoting proper alignment of the hips and spine. This will help free the spine and legs, as well as increasing mobility and improve overall health.

Stress can cause tightness in your shoulders, which can lead to pain and stiffness over time. Your body's stress response can cause your muscles to contract, especially in your jaw. This can lead to more serious issues like back pain, body aches, and headaches. 


This workshop will help strengthen, stretch, and stabilize the muscles responsible for a healthy upper back posture, open the chest, and improve upper body strength, which can help relieve back and neck pain.


A regular Yoga practice will definitely help your shoulders by opening up your posture and strengthening the backand core musculature, your neck will get stronger naturally too over time.

Here are some benefits of Yoga twists:

  • Twists help release stress from the nervous system and unwind the fascia, which runs from the neck and shoulder to the opposite hip and down the legs.
  • Stimulates organs: Twists can stimulate the organs of elimination, which can help stimulate metabolism and excretion.
  • Increases blood flow: Twists can increase blood flow throughout the body, which can help deliver oxygen-rich blood to vital areas. 
  • Releases tension: Releasing tension in tight muscles can lead to mental clarity.
  • Twists help create space in the shoulders, spine, and hips.
  • Twists help calm the nervous system and stimulate the vagus nerve fibers in the neck and torso.

Yoga encourages mental and physical relaxation, which helps reduce stress and anxiety. The physical postures promote flexibility, relieve tension, and alleviate pain. Yoga poses may help you release physical blockages like muscle knots, helping release emotions and tension.

This workshop will help loosen, mobilise and ‘oil’ your hips, shoulders and spine. 
It is also a mindfulness practice to help you stay present with your experience by working with your body and breath, the mantra “here and now” might be useful during your 90minute practice.

All are welcome, suitable for beginners.
